Southeast youths laud Ifeanyi Ogbonna’s commitment to human and societal developments

A  socio-political organization, Progressive Abia Youths for Good Governance (PABG), has lauded the unwavering commitment of the foremost philanthropist, Honorable Ifeanyi Elvis Ogbonna towards human empowerment and societal development.

The organization whose membership is drawn from the three senatorial districts of Abia state in a communique issued at the end of its enlarged meeting held in umuahia on Saturday, noted that Ogbonna’s significant contributions in the ongoing efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu- federal led government of Nigeria iand the All Progressives Congress to deepen the current democracy in the country.

The communique was signed by the group’s President, Surveyor Samuel Aguiyi and Secretary-General, Comrade Chinedu Emeruwa, and made available to journalists on Monday.

The organization particularly noted that Ogbonna has distinguished himself as a private sector businessman, philanthropist per excellence, and political leader, as has remained consistent in engendering youth empowerment and development, through his several humanitarian support programs in most Arochukwu/Ohafia constituencies, and many other rural communities in Abia state.

The Progressive Abia Youths for Good Governance also noted that Hon Ifeanyi Ogbonna’s immense contributions towards the socio-economic and infrastructural growths in Abia, southeast, and Nigeria as a whole, has attested to the widely-held opinions that he possessed the needed ability and capacity to offer quality representation and foster genuine development in Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency, and indeed Abia state if called upon and offered opportunity to assume federal constituency seat at the house of representatives, Abuja.

Describing Hon Ifeanyi Elvis Ogbonna as an embodiment of humility, comradeship, and service, Progressive Abia Youths for Good Governance further noted that these sterling qualities embedded by this quintessential Abia-born business mogul stood him fit, and the best brain to give the good people of Arochukwu and Ohafia constituency an effective voice at the green chamber of the national assembly come 2027.

While decrying continous misrepresentation of the Abia federal constituency at the Nigeria highest legislative house under the present leadership of the Nigerian Senate, the organization prevailed on Hon Ifeanyi Elvis Ogbonna to heed to the clarion and popular call on him by majority of average constituents from Arochukwu and ohafia local government areas to join national assembly race ahead of the forthcoming 2027 main elections in Abia, and many other states of Nigeria federation.

The Progressive Abia Youths for Good Governance told Ogbonna that it will amount to total disservice to the people if fail to heed to this unanimous decision of the larger populace in Arochukwu/ohafia federal constituency, who are yearning for good governance, to lead them come 2027.

Committed towards actualizing a change in the representation of Arochukwu/ohafia federal constituency in the green chamber of the national assembly, Progressive Abia Youths for Good Governance disclosed its ongoing tours to communities across Arochukwu and Ohafia local government areas, aimed at mobilizing supports, and garner bulk votes from eligible voters in federal constituency during the coming polls to ensure election of Honorable Ifeanyi Elvis Ogbonna as lawmaker and member of the house of representative in 2027.

According to the organization, “We have placed announcements in several media outlets, mobilizing and sensitizing these eligible Abia voters to go register for Permanent Voters card in designated INEC centers or units, which empowers them to choose competent and capable personalities into various public /political leadership positions, to man their affairs and engender socio-economic and infrastructural developments in their respective areas “.
