Abia ADC disciplinary committee summons national welfare secretary, Ukandu over alleged misconducts

The disciplinary committee of the African Democratic Congress in (ADC) uzuakoki ward in Bende local government area of Abia state, has summoned the national welfare secretary of the party, Nkem Ukandu to appear before it to explain the motive behind the purported suspension of the state chairman, Obinna Don Norman.

THE PURVEYOR reports that a parallel structure of the ADC in Abia state had in August announced the suspension of the state chairman of the party, Obinna Norman over alleged abuse of office and high-handedness.

The decision was taken during a harmonization and unification meeting of the party held in Aba.

Mazi Kanu O. Kanu was announced as the acting state chairman of the ADC, while a three-man disciplinary committee headed by Kalu Kalu Agu was set up to investigate the allegations against Obinna.

However, according to an invitation letter signed by the chairman of the disciplinary committee of the ADC in uzuakoli ward in Bende LGA, Mr David Chinwe, made available to newsmen on Sunday, Nkem Ukandu is requested to appear before the committee within 48 hours to clear himself in the shameful act of irresponsible at one love hotel uzuakoli.
