Abia Guber: Sonacop CEO, Mazi Emma Uche vows to mobilize for Gov Otti’s reelection in 2027

A prominent stalwart labour party in Abia state and the Chief Executive Officer of Sonacop Industrial Limited, Mazi Emmanuel Uche has vowed to mobilise the people of Abia state to ensure Governor Alex Otti’s reelection in 2027.

He noted that Governor Otti has demonstrated leadership capacity in the last two years, with several executions of critical socio-economic infrastructural projects across the embarked by his administration.
Mazi Uche who bared his minds while addressing journalists on Wednesday in Umuahia, the Abia state capital.
The party chieftain posited that Dr Otti has redefined governance in Abia state as his government has engendered improved education, enhanced health delivery system, and as well fostered effective security architecture, which led to the relative peace being witnessed across the state currently.
According to him, “Otti’s administration in partnership with the federal government is building an Abia airport, and which when completed will strengthen the current inflow of local and foreign investments and also boost the state’s internally generated revenue base. And this ongoing airport project is first in kind in the annals of history since the state’s creation.
“On human development , this present government has empowered indigent and non-indigent citizens through initiation of several skill acquisition training programs. And these Abians, on conclusion of the skill acquisition training program are being supported with funds to set up their businesses and become self reliant, and self-productive to their families and the society at large.
“This same administration provided and facilitated employment of the citizenry into various statutory ministries, departments, and agencies of the state and federal government. And these feat recorded by this administration has significantly reduced restiveness and crimes mostly associated with youths in the society,”He stated.
Continuing, Mazi Uche reiterated that there is no vacancy in Abia government house come 2027, positing that the people of the state won’t afford to remove the current performing governor for political moneybags.
“Because these individuals self -styling themselves as 2027 governorship hopefuls, cannot offer good leadership as presently seen in Abia today under Governor Alex Chioma Otti. These individuals won’t be allowed to assume the Abia governorship seat, because the Abia electorates won’t afford to return to Egypt and the era of looting sprees which were terribly experienced during successive past administrations in the state.
While justifying his unflinching support for the continuity of Dr Otti -led administration in Abia state following its numerous modest achievements since inauguration, Mazi Emmanuel Uche otherwise known as Dike Aro’ admonished those nursing to contest and remove Governor Otti to channel their resources towards complementing the current state government’s efforts in the development of critical infrastructures for the economic stability of Abia state.
The party chieftain also lauded the mass turn out of indigenes of Arochukwu local government area of the state in the ongoing voters registration exercise across communities in Arochukwu local government area of the state and confided that Arochukwu people and larger Abia electorates will give Governor Alex Chioma Otti and Labour party (LP) bulk votes to ensure his return to state government house in 2027.

The governor’s reelection is imperative. Because, his reelection will enable him to consolidate his administration’s laudable strides and also work more for greater socio-economic and infrastructural development of Abia State.
Mazi Uche further commended the people of the state for their continued cooperation and support to Governor Alex Otti-led administration in last two years, which he described as superb.
