A southeast chieftain, Honorable Daniel Ifeanyi Okorie has announced his resignation from People’s Redemption Party(PRP) for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Abia State.

Okorie who was the PRP leader in Bende federal constituency, announced his resignation in a letter, tendered to the party chairman, ugwueke/ezeukwu ward in Bende local government area of Abia state.

Adducing the rationale behind his decision, Hon Daniel Okorie said he pitched tent with ADC to restore Nigeria on path of economic prosperity from the undemocratic rule of the All Progressives Congress in the country.

“We have seen light that will soon shine up on the nation. I believe ADC will end bad governance in Nigeria and restore our economy which had dwindled,”he stated.

While pledging to remain committed to the democratic ideology and principles of the African Democratic Congress, Okorie commended the Abia state chairman of the party, Mr Don Norman Obinna for his expectitional leadership in the state.

He encouraged the people of Bende local government area and residents to join ADC, as it is only route to end insecurity, poverty, hunger, corruption and economic downfall that APC brought in Nigeria over a decade.
