Southeast chieftain, Emeka Bahadur commends Atiku on ADC membership, advises Obi, El’Rufai

Stalwart of the African Democratic Congress from the southeast, Honorable Emeka Bahadur Ndubuisi has lauded the formal entry into ADC by the former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Recall that Atiku had on Monday, officially joined the African Democratic Congress, ADC, the coalition-backed party he is expected to align with ahead of the 2027 election.

He made the announcement on Monday, through his X handle, posting a photo of himself holding his ADC membership card with the brief caption, “It’s official.”

Reacting, Honorable Emeka Bahadur Ndubuisi, in a statement on Tuesday, described the Atiku’s latest political movement as a good step in the right direction.

While congratulating Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for officially joining the ADC, Hon Emeka Bahadur Ndubuisi called on Peter Obi, Mallam Nasir El Rufai, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe and other critical stakeholders to emulate the courageous step taken by ex-vice President which according to him, is shrouded to salvage the country from bad governance and engender transformation leadership at all levels in the country.

The party stalwart further commended the national working committee of the African Democratic Congress-led by Senator David Mark for its commitment towards the growth and unity of the party, reiterating his total confidence in the capacity of the national leadership to lead ADC to victory in the forthcoming 2027 presidential, governorship, and state assemblies election across the federation.

The former House of Representatives aspirant also used the medium to call on the people of Abia state and Nigerians as a whole to rally round African Democratic Congress, adding that ADC remains the only alternative to the economic recovery of Nigeria.
