Pro-democracy Group laud Mayor Igbokwe’s leadership qualities

Forum of Abia Democrats (FABD), has lauded the outstanding leadership qualities and the unwavering commitment of Mayor Lucky Igbokwe to the development and progress of Nigeria.

The United Nation Mayor Lucky Igbokwe was a former governorship aspirant from Abia State and currently serves as Abia State Director of City Boys November (CBM), a pro-democracy and support group founded to mobilize and rally support for President Bola Tinubu’s reelection in 2027.
He is also the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Don FM Radio, Umuahia, and frontline Stalwart of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC).
The forum whose membership is drawn from the seventeen (17) local government areas of Abia State, hailed Mayor Igbokwe’s unwavering commitment to the current efforts of President Bola Tinubu -led administration’s in deeping democracy in the country.
Forum of Abia Democrats (FABD) made the commendation in a statement issued at the end of their general meeting held on Tuesday in Abuja.
The statement by the forum was signed by the chairman, Surveyor Samuel Aguiyi and Secretary-General, Amb Victor Mbanaso.
The forum noted that Mayor Lucky Igbokwe has remained steadfast in championing President Tinubu’s reelection bid towards consolidating on the giant development strides already recorded by the administration in the last three and half years.
In Abia State, the forum noted that Mayor Lucky Igbokwe’s commitment to the socio-economic and infrastructural development of the state cannot be overemphasized, and lauded Igbokwe’s display of capacity in massively mobilizing Abia citizens and Nigerians as a whole for APC and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s continuity beyond 2027.
The forum said: “Mayor Lucky Igbokwe’s well-deserved appointment as Abia State Director of City Boys Movement (CBM) has fostered the widespread grassroots acceptability and support among majority of the people of Abia State and the southeast as a whole.
“In further demonstration of his commitment and passion for human empowerment, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe provided jobs for teeming youths in his numerous business conglomerates. He equally facilitated the employment of Abia citizens in state and federal ministries, departments, and agencies, which had positively made them to become self-reliant, and productive to the larger society.
“It is worthy to note that Mayor Igbokwe sponsored and trained hundred of indigent children and youths in various levels of academic institutions under his education support programs.
“Aside from these aforementioned, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe built, equipped and provided houses for less privilege in Ohuhu umuahia community. And he also empowered beneficiaries of the houses with funds to start up small businesses making them to become self- dependable,”the forum stated.
Describing Mayor Lucky Igbokwe as authentic democrat and servant-leader, Forum of Abia Democrats (FABD) noted that history will be kind to Igbokwe for his immense contributions, continued support, and unwavering commitment to human and society development.
The forum pledged to render maximum support and cooperation to the leadership of the City Boys Movement under Mayor Lucky Igbokwe in ensuring the victory of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and APC in the forthcoming general elections in Abia State.
