Party chieftain, MacDonald Ubah urges Abia citizens to join LP

Special Adviser on Security matters to the Abia State Governor, Navy Comdr MacDonald Ubah, Retd, has called on eligible citizens from Abia state to join ruling labour party as the party commences membership e-registration and revalidation exercise in the country.

Ubah made the call in a statement issued on Sunday in umuahia, the Abia state capital.

The frontline party chieftain described Labour Party as the only alternative route to Nigeria’s economic recovery, infrastructural development, improved education and healthcare delivery systems when it mount the leadership of the country.

Buttressing his call on Nigerian citizens to participate in the ongoing LP membership e-registration exercise nationwide, Ubah reminded Nigerian citizens that labour party remains the ideologically-based and viable political platform that has demonstrated purposeful democratic leadership more than other registered political parties in the country.

Aside from strengthening the party’s grassroots structures across Abia state, retired Navy Comdr Ubah explained that the ongoing membership e-registration exercise by the labour party provides eligible citizens of the state an opportunity to align with the party and make contribute to the current nation-building.

The LP stalwart specifically maintained that the labour party -led government in Abia state has shown exceptional and transformative leadership which according to him, distinguished the party from others.
