2027: Chris Igboko dumps LP for ADC in Abia, gives reason

A former house of representatives hopeful from Abia state, Hon Chris Igboko Okoroafor, has revealed his defection from labour party (LP) to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Recall that Okoroafor was a former house of representatives candidate of Action Peoples Party (APP) for Aba North/Aba South federal constitutency seat during 2023 general election held in Abia state by the independent national electoral commission.

Later, he dumped the APP for the ruling labour party in the state.
Hon Chris Igboko, while revealing his latest political movement, in a statement on Wednesday, hinted that he joined ADC to play critical roles towards enthroning true credible leaderships in all levels in the country.
He noted that the new Nigeria, which ordinary citizens of the country presently desires for cannot be actualized by apathy, maintaining that every eligible citizens must fully participate in the nation’s electioneering process, in order to enthrone credible leaderships that would foster a new economically and infrastructural stable Nigeria.
According to the party chieftain, “I’m out for the game 2027. I move.
“A New Nigeria cannot be built by spectators. It will only be built by participants who show up, organize, and vote,”He posited.
Honorable Igboko, therefore, used the medium to call on every eligible A Nigerian citizens to join ADC, describing his new party as the only route to Nigeria’s economic rejuvenation and recovery when it assumes leadership of the country.
“Every eligible Abia citizens, and Nigerians should use this opportunity, the ongoing nationwide membership e-registration and revalidation exercise provided by the ADC, to get register and become a member of the ADC, in order to contribute in the decision-making process of Nigeria society.
“Enter the party. Take your place, and secure your vote. The movement needs action, not noise.
A New Nigeria is possible but only if we participate.
“To get register and become a card-carrying and bonafide member of ADC, visit the website www.adcregistration.ng. Your National Identification Number is only needed for the ADC membership registration process”,Hon Igboko stated.
