Over 7,000 APC Supporters joins LP in Abia

Over 7,000 supporters comprising members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) led by former member of the national executive committee of the party, Chief Nduka Anyanwu to join the ruling labour party in Abia State.

The APC members will be formally received into the labour party in Abia state at due time.

This was disclosed by Chief Nduka Anyanwu when received Abia state chairman of the labour party, Dr Peter Azubuike and members of the state executive committee of the party at his Eziama Ossah Ibeku residence in umuahia, the state capital.
The Azubuike-led state working committee of the labour party visited the founding member and ex-national officer of the APC to welcome following his defection to LP.
Adduced the rationale behind his decision in joining labour party with his creams of supporters and APC members in Abia state, High Chief Nduka Anyanwu, the immediate-past Board council chairman of Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON), explained that his decision was purely based on the transformative leadership of Governor Alex Chioma Otti in the state.
Chief Anyanwu who used the fora to make it clear that no individual persuaded him to join labour party, stating that his conscience compelled him to join the ruling party in Abia state and contribute in supporting Governor Alex Otti’s developmental vision.
The foremost statesman also adduced that his latest decision was not driven by personal ambition or expectations but by genuine desire and passion to participate in the rebuilding of Abia State that was misgoverned by past PDP government in the state.
“It is only a wicked person or a blind man that will say Governor Alex Otti is not doing well.
“Even those who criticize him publicly often acknowledge his performance privately.
“Development is visible everywhere across Abia State,”He stated.
Chief Nduka Anyanwu, an ersewhile member of the APC 2023 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), further disclosed that he joined LP with over 7,000 supporters and associates across the state.
He assured the state leadership of the labour party of his total support and loyalty to Governor Alex Otti-led administration in Abia.
