2027:Edo NDC Aspirant, Amienye Omorogie speaks on conducted State House of Assembly Primaries held for Ikopa-okha constituency

The house of assembly of Nigeria Democratic Congress for Ikopa-okha constituency, Comrade Amienye Omorogie, has made clarification concerning the outcome of the recently-conducted state assembly primary election for Ikopa-okha constituency seat by the leadership of the NDC.

Recall that Nigeria Democratic Congress had on May 29 conducted its primary elections.

However, Comrade Amienye Omorogie, while speaking on Friday on the outcome of the recently-conducted state assembly primary election for Ikopa-okha constituency said,”My phone has been inundated with several calls and messages wanting to know the outcome of our Ikpoba-Okha Constituency House of Assembly primary election in NDC.

“Initially, the leaders asked us (the aspirants) to opt for consensus. We initiated the move and discussed among ourselves, but we couldn’t reach a consensus. All of us (the aspirants) then reached an agreement for the leaders to pick one out of the six of us and that we would then reach a consensus to work together. The leaders in their wisdom picked Mr. Uyigue Omorogbe and asked that we all work together.

“As a loyal party man, I accepted the elders/leaders arrangement.
However, the X reaching us says that the arrangement wasn’t obeyed. So we patiently wait for the final official list to be out. We shall then give our own position to our people and supporters.

“One thing is certain, for presidency, our full support is unwavering for Obi/Kwankwanso.

“For Senate down to the house of Assembly, we shall see as soon as we get the final NDC official results”.
