Abia South 2027: James Chikwendu promises effective representation in Senate

Ahead of the forthcoming general election in 2027 in Abia state, frontline Abia south Senatorial aspirant, Elder Comrade James Chibuzo Chikwendu, has restated his commitment to socio-economic and infrastructural and development of the Abia South zone and Abia state as a whole.

Comdr. Chikwendu spoke during an interview with newsmen on Thursday in Aba.
The national assembly hopeful adduced that his decision to contest for the national legislative seat is borne out of his passion for good governance and foster even development across Abia South senatorial district.
He believed that past and outgoing representatives of Abia south senatorial zone had done their best towards enhancing economic growths and infrastructural development across Abia South , opining that more efforts are needed in engendering human capital projects to improve the welfare of the people from the senatorial zone.
Comdr. James Chikwendu believed that he possessed the ability, requisite capacity and expertise to provide effective and responsive representation when elected as distinguished Senator of the of the Abia Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2027.
He promised to sponsor development-oriented bills and make meaningful laws in strengthening all relevant institutions of democratic governance in the country when supported to emerge as a lawmaker come next year’s elections .
The prominent Abia south aspirant assured to use his office when chosen as senator representing Abia south Senatorial district to attract the federal government’s building of critical infrastructures in Abia south, provision of essential social amenities, and facilitation of employment of constituents into federal and state’s ministries, departments, and agencies (MDA).
According to Chikwendu, “I will ensure basic democratic dividends are brought to the doorsteps of every Abia south constituents in their living standards. I will launch education support programs every quarterly. And indigent constituents, including teachers, pupils and students from Abia south senatorial zone will be encouraged to acquire and enhance teaching and learning in government-owned schools across the area if given maximum support to become a national Assembly member next year”.
Comdr. James Chikwendu used the medium to call on all eligible people from Abia South senatorial zone to ensure they register and obtain their Permanent Voters(PVC) from the Independent National Electoral Commission, so as to enable them effect a change in the nation’s leadership and elect credible with needed capacity to engender socio-economic and infrastructural development in their various local areas and Abia state.
