Abia 2027: Ekpendu Christian wins ADC ticket for Obingwa West State Constituency

Ekpendu Ifeanyi Christian, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress from Abia State, has emerged as winner of the just-concluded ADC State House of Assembly primary election for Obingwa West constituency seat.

Hon Ekpendu polled 36 votes casts to defeat his only rival, Mr Agalaba, who scored 26 votes. during the just-conducted primary election by the leadership of the ADC in Obingwa West state constituency.

The primary election results was announced by the returning officer on Thursday.

However, addressing party members and teeming supporters who turned out for the concluded exercise, the newly-elected ADC State House of Assembly standard -bearee for Obingwa West constituency seat in the forthcoming main elections in 2027, Hon Ekpendu Iheanyi John reiterated his commitment to the socio-economic and infrastructural development of Obingwa West constituency and Abia state as a whole.

He assured party members and the people of Obingwa West state constituency of effective representation at the Abia legislative chamber.

Hon Ekpendu Christian promised to sponsor development -oriented bill and make impactful laws that would engender even development across local communities in obingwa West, and enhance the general welfare of his constituents when elected as member of the Abia State House of Assembly.

The leading Abia ADC aspirant thanked the State leadership of the ADC and term party members/ delegates for the confidence they reposed him and reassured them that he will not disappoint them in the mandate entrusted him when elected as member of the State hallowed legislative house come 2027.
