The people of Bende North State Constituency are once again presented with an opportunity to choose leadership rooted in service, education, and community development.

The candidacy of Hon. Ngozi Vivianne Orji reflects not just personal ambition, but a continuation of a family legacy built on excellence, discipline, and humanitarian impact.

She is the daughter of the late Prof. Herbert Onyekwere Orji, a distinguished Nigerian academic, investment banker, and development thinker whose professional journey inspired a strong commitment to capacity building and national development. Through his career in banking, academia, and institutional leadership, he contributed to shaping financial and development systems that impacted lives beyond Abia State.

Her mother, Dr. Nnenna Orji, is also recognized for her professional service and her active role in community upliftment, especially in education and empowerment initiatives that support families and vulnerable groups.

Growing up under this strong intellectual and humanitarian foundation, Hon. Ngozi Vivianne Orji developed early exposure to discipline, service, and excellence. She was born in the United States and began her education in an international learning environment before continuing her academic journey in Nigeria, where she attended American International School, Lagos, and later Atlantic Hall, Lagos State, known for academic excellence and leadership grooming.

She proceeded to the United States, where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from Howard University, gaining global academic exposure in leadership and development studies. She further advanced her academic and professional capacity in the United Kingdom, earning a Master’s Degree from the University of Bradford, strengthening her understanding of governance, policy development, and human-centered development systems.

Professionally, before and alongside her political interest, Hon. Ngozi Vivianne Orji has been actively engaged in structured humanitarian and development work, contributing meaningfully through the Herbert Onyekwere Orji Foundation, where she has been involved in:

Youth empowerment and leadership development

Educational scholarships and academic support programs

Women economic empowerment initiatives

Community outreach and social welfare coordination

Through these engagements, she has gained practical experience in organizing development programs, managing community-focused initiatives, and working directly with people at the grassroots level.

Building on this foundation, she has consistently engaged in humanitarian work through education support, youth empowerment programs, women development initiatives, and small business support schemes across Bende North.

Her vision is to translate these grassroots experiences into legislative action, strengthening education, improving healthcare access, supporting agriculture, and expanding economic opportunities for young people and women.

*Her candidacy represents:

A continuation of proven service-oriented leadership

A commitment to grassroots empowerment

A fresh, educated, and globally exposed perspective

A focus on practical solutions for Bende North development

In a time when communities need leaders who understand both local realities and modern development approaches, she stands as a bridge between tradition, education, and progressive governance.

Her aspiration is therefore not just political, it is a continuation of service, shaped by legacy, strengthened by education, and driven by a deep commitment to the people.
