ADC Coalition intact under Senator Abaribe -Abia chieftain, Ezeala

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Abia state, has clarified that it’s not battling any leadership crisis in the state.

The clarification followed the widespread insinuations in some quarters of the media, purporting that ADC is ravaged by leadership squabble.

Addressing journalists in umuahia, the Abia state capital, a renowned political party administrator, Dr Okey Ezeala assured critical party stakeholders, teeming members and supporters in the state that ADC is structurally intact under the leadership of Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, alongside legacy chieftains who are putting machineries in place to harmonize the warring tendencies in no time.

He reminded antagonists that the National Working Committee (NWC) of the African Democratic Congress issued guidelines for the interim regime – which we the legacy structure have a mandate to abide with.

“So, in view of the ongoing membership drive, everyone is of equal stake until the substantive officers emerge from the nationwide congresses.

“Consequently, it will be mischievous for anyone to claim to be substantive Chairman or Secretary of a party that is yet to conduct congresses,”He stated.

Continuing, Dr Ezeala used the medium to call on the Governor of Abia state, Dr. Alex Otti to review his earlier affirmation to remain in labour party, describing the coalition ADC as the most formidable platform to sustain the relative development threshold of the present administration in the state.

The frontline party stalwart also dismissed the recent disclaimer by one faceless Emole Onwasoanya and co-travelers without traceable address, as one failed distraction that Abia ADC will not dignify.

Dr Ezeala therefore urged the general public toshun the antics of disgruntled elements who are bent to trade off the coalition party and truncate its unity in Abia state for their selfish political gains.
