Yuletide: NRM chairman, Edozie Njoku harps on unity, fervent prayers to surmount Nigeria’s challenges

National chairman of National Rescue Movement(NRM), Chief Edozie Njoku, has called on Christians and indeed all Nigerians, to use this period of yuletides to reflect on the daunting challenges facing Nigeria and seek for God’s intervention in order to surmount these problems impeding the country’s efforts to attain economic greatness.

He made the call in his goodwill message to mark this year’s Christmas celebration which took place across Nigeria on Thursday.

Chief Njoku reminded the citizens that Nigeria’s desire to be among comity of advanced and prosperous nations in the globe cannot be actualized under atmosphere of misgovernance, poor representation, insecurity, religious crisis, urging them to use this yuletides to embrace dialogue and reconcilation towards restoring unity among the citizens of the country.

The NRM national chairman emphasized on the need for elected public office-holders at all stratas of leaderships in the country to formulate impactful policies and human welfarist enhancement programs, and ensure their full implementations in addressing hunger, infrastructural decadence, worsened insecurity, naria devaluation, and other teething challenges plaguing Nigeria.

He reminded the nation’s political class that this season of celebration of christmas and coming new year provides them great opportunity to reassess themselves and live up to their responsibilities by engendering critical infrastructures and improving living condition of Nigeria populaces who suffers now to feed and provide for their immediate families.

Chief Njoku thanked Almighty God for the gift of life to witness this year’s commemoration of the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ despite the human shortcomings.

The national chairman extended his heartfelt wishes to Christians faithfuls in the country on the celebration of christmas and prayed that the coming year (2026) be filled with prosperity and success to every Nigerian citizens.
