Yuletides: Ex-Imo speaker, Chinedu Offor tasks Imo citizens on unity

Former speaker of Imo state House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedu Offor on Thursday, told the people of the state that this period of yuletide reminds christian faithfuls of the value of love, unity, and compassion that bind us a community.

In a goodwill message made available to newsmen to mark this year’s Christmas celebration, Hon Chinedu Offor also stated that this festive period provides all imolites the time to reflect on individual blessings, strengthen family ties, and reach out to those in need.

The ex-Imo lawmaker extended his heartfelt wishes to esteemed citizens of onuimo, both at home and diaspora, His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodinma CON, along with his distinguished family, and the good people of Imo state on the joyous seasons of christmas.

To his immediate state constituency, Onuimo, Hon Chinedu Offor prayed that this season of yuletides bring peace, joy and renewed hope.

“May this coming year(2026) be filled with prosperity, good health, and success in all your endeavors,”He stated.

“To Ndi-imo, both at home and in the diaspora, I wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy, prosperous new year.

“May our great state continue to prosper and shine as a beacon of hope and progress in the southeast and Nigeria as a whole.

“To His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodinma CON, and your esteemed family, I wish you and your loved ones a merry Christmas and a happy, prosperous new year.

“Your leadership and dedication to Imo state are truly commendable.

“May the spirit of Christmas inspire us to work towards a brighter future for our community, our state and our nation,”The imo chieftain added.
