Yuletide: LP chieftain, Emma Uche commends Gov Otti on relative peace in Abia areas

Prominent chieftain of the labour party from the southeast and the Chief Executive Officer of Sonacop Industrial Limited, Mazi Emmanuel Uche, has lauded the relative peace being experienced in the state as christian faithfuls across the globe mark Christmas celebration.

He noted that the effective security architecture and other development -oriented policies implemented by Governor Alex Otti-led administration has yielded building of several critical infrastructure projects in all Abia areas, and engendered inflow of foreign and local business investments in the state.

Mazi Uche made the commendation in a statement made available to journalists on Tuesday in Umuahia, the Abia state capital.

The party stalwart said the Otti-led government has ensured there are no hiding places in anywhere in the state for criminal elements to operate and unleash any nefarious attacks on citizens traveling and returning for the yuletide.

According to him, these giant strides achieved by the state government in the last two years in infrastructural revolution and security sector has led many multi-national companies, local industrial productions to return in the state, and most significantly, improved the state’s internally generated revenue base.

He confided Abia citizens traveling and returning home for the yuletide that the current administration has sustained the tempo in keeping every areas of the state safe and secure during and after christmas and new year celebrations.

Mazi Uche commended the cordial working relationship between the government and all security agencies in Abia state, which according to him, had erased cases of criminal attacks associated and witnessed across the state in the past.

The party stalwart also commended the people of Abia state for their maximum supports and cooperation to Governor Alex Chioma Otti-led administration and urged them to sustain the tempo as Abia state will enjoy more bountiful dividends of democracy come next year.
