Yuletide: Abia chieftain, Luke Ukara assures citizens peaceful christmas celebration

A chieftain of the labour party and Special Adviser on legislative matters to the Abia state Governor, Hon Luke Onyeani Ukara, has assured Abia citizens that Governor Alex Otti-led administration has engendered critical infrastructures and fostered relative peace in the state for joyous celebration of christmas on thursday.
He informed them that the government had executed several completed developmental projects in every parts of the state in the last two years, pointing out that the visible monumental strides recorded by the current administration has placed Abia on the path of economic greatness.
Hon Ukara who stated this in his goodwill message to the people of Abia state to mark 2025 christmas celebrations on Thursday, also informed them that Governor Alex Otti has ensured improved education and healthcare delivery systems, and human developments, through implementation of several policies and programs carried out by his administration on inauguration.
He intimated them that Abia has witnessed relative peace as criminal elements has no hiding places in the state to unleash heinous attacks on innocent citizens and residents of the state.
Ukara attributed the visible improvement witnessed in Abia security system to the effective security architecture put in place by Governor Otti’s administration on assumption of office.
He commended the security agencies for their positive efforts in curbing violent crimes in the state, assuring Abia citizens traveling and returning for Christmas and New year celebrations that security agencies are on red alert to ensure that criminals do not find any haven anywhere in the state.
While reassuring the citizens of water-tight security during and after the yuletides, Hon Luke Ukara lauded the cordial working relationship between the state executive arm of government and members of the Abia house of assembly, adding that the existing synergy by these arms of government has strengthened all institutions of democratic governance and engendered basic dividends of democracy to the every doorsteps of Abia populace.
The former Abia lawmaker also used the medium to commend the people of the state for their maximum supports and cooperation to the present administration, assuring them to expect more democratic dividends from the state government in 2026.
