The Osun State Election has revealed this important truth; the people hold the power!

The people resisted the forces that came against them. The people prevailed. I saw individuals stood their grounds to say no to intimidation. I saw youths pounce on a ballot snatcher. I saw a determined people resisting the vote buyers and seizing the money brought for such unfortunate transaction. Yes, these are Nigerians, they are not from the Mars!

So much power rests with the people to determine the outcome of any election. Do not allow anyone to make you think that it has been settled before election or that your vote wouldn’t count.

You are the employer of politicians. The people decide their fate. Rise up and encourage those who already gave up hope. Tell them there is hope. Tell them that their votes count!!

Let the Osun State election Serve as a reminder that indeed, the highest office in the land still remains the office of the people!!!!
