Umuahia East 2027: Abia Group laud Nwachukwu’s emergence as APC State of House of Assembly Candidate

Forum of Abia Democrats (FABD), has commended the leadership of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for upholding the people’s mandate and internal democracy within the party in fielding Hon Innocent Chimezie Nwachukwu.

The forum whose membership is drawn from the seventeen(17) local government areas of Abia State, appreciated party members for the overwhelming support given to Hon Innocent Nwachukwu during the party house of assembly primaries held for umuahia east constituency seat.

Forum of Abia Democrats (FABD) made the commendation in a press release made available to newsmen on Saturday in Abuja.

The release by the forum was signed by the Chairman, Engr Ebuka Mbanaso and Secretary-General, Amb Chijindu Emeruwa.

While commending the party leadership for considering competence and grassroots acceptance in arriving at its decision on umuahia east constituency ticket, the forum described Hon Innocent Chimezie Nwachukwu as the best man for the plum legislative job, having demonstrated capacity as a successful businessman, community and political leader.

According to the forum, “the confidence and widespread acceptance of Hon Innocent Nwachukwu enjoys among the electorates in umuahia east constituency will turn into electoral victory for APC in next year’s general election.

Forum of Abia Democrats (FABD) described Hon Innocent Nwachukwu’s emergence as the APC State house of assembly candidate for umuahia east constituency seat as the beginning of a new chapter of progress and purposeful leadership in umuahia east Constituency.

“We believe Hon Innocent Nwachukwu possessed the wherewithal to drive development and uplift rural communities in umuahia east state constituency, through the attractions of meaningful infrastructural projects and provision of essential amenities across the constituency when chosen in the coming election as next member representing umuahia east constituency at Abia state house of assembly.

“Aside from attracting essential socio-economic and infrastructural projects, it is not in doubt Hon Innocent Chimezie Nwachukwu (KSM) will make a difference by sponsoring resulted -oriented motions and impactful bills, and make development-oriented laws which will strengthen all relevant institutions of democratic governance in Abia state when elected into the state legislative chamber come 2027.

The southeast forum therefore pledged to deliver bulk votes to All Progressives Congress (APC) to ensure the victory and emergence of Hon Innocent Nwachukwu as the member representing umuahia east constituency at the State House of Assembly come next year’s elections in Abia.
