State Congress: Party Stalwart, Lilian Obenwa congratulates newly-elected Abia APC executive members

Prominent Stalwart of the All Progressives Congress from Abia state and Chairperson, Leadership and Business Trade Group of Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hon Mrs. Lilian Obenwa Agbazue, has described the recently-conducted congresses by the APC in Abia state as a victory for unity and progress for the party.

Hon Obenwa congratulated the newly-elected members of the Abia State Executive Council of the APC chaired by Hon Chijioke Chukwu.

According to a message addressed to new state party officers by  Obenwa on Wednesday,”Your emergence through this transparent and inclusive process marks the beginning of a renewed commitment to the values and vision of our great party”.

She commended the deputy speaker of the house of representatives, Rt Hon Benjamin Kalu for his exemplary leadership and political sagacity that fostered the current unity in Abia chapter of the progressive party.

Her words: “As a leader, you’ve once again demonstrated why you are widely regarded as a pillar of stability within our party. Your unique approach to governance, which seamlessly blends development with political inclusion, provided the harmonious atmosphere required for the successful conduct of these congresses.

“Your blueprint for harmony continues to yield positive results at both the state and national levels. Under your guidance, our party in Abia has shown that we are a united family, ready to lead with purpose”.

Hon Lilian Obenwa further applauded state leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress for their total commitment to the party internal democracy

She stated:”I salute the dedication of every party member, and stakeholder who participated in this process. Your commitment to the internal democracy of our party ensures that the APC remains the preferred choice for the good people of Abia State.

“The new executive bears the responsibility of ensuring unity and advancing the progressive ideals that will guarantee more electoral victories for the APC in 2027 and beyond”.

Continuing, Hon Obenwa also lauded the sterling leadership qualities of Chief Eric Ikwuagwu and Barr Emeka Okoroafor,  congratulating them respectively on their emergence as new state officers of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Words: “Your emergence is the true foundation of our party’s strength. You are the closest to the people, and your role in organizing support and communicating the progressive agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, is critical.

“As you assume these responsibilities, remember that your dedication is the bedrock upon which we will continue to build a stronger and more unified APC family in Abia State”.

Reiterating that APC in Abia state is poised for greater achievements, Hon Lilian Obenwa Agbazue, therefore, tasked members of the party in Abia state for continued support to the efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration in delivering basic dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of every Nigerians.
