Southeast chieftain, Engr Zik Ihechi hails Gov Otti on transformative leadership in Abia

A frontline chieftain of the labour party and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Peazic Global Gate Investment Limited, Engr Zik Ihechi Chinedu, has lauded the transformational leadership of Governor Alex Otti in Abia state.

He commended Otti-led administration for the infrastructural revolution across the state, noting that numerous completed road construction projects executed by the present government has developed rural communities and ensured ease transportation of local produces from these communities to urban areas in the state.

Engr Zik Ihechi who made the commendation while speaking with newsmen on Sunday.

He explained that the state government economic blueprints and provision of electricity power engendered inflows foreign and local business investments, and as well enhanced industrial production especially in Aba, the commercial nerve center of Abia state.

According to him, this inflows of local and foreign business investments in Abia, led to the ongoing construction of the airport by the state government area in partnership with the federal government. And when this airport project is completed, it will add to the current remarkable improvement seen in the state’s internally-generated revenue base,”he stated.

The party stalwart gave a passmark to Governor Alex Otti for the effective security architecture put in place in the state by his administration, noting that Abia is relatively peaceful, as there are no hiding places in the state for criminal elements to thrive in their nefarious attacks on innocent citizens and critical government assets.

“This present government has continued to demonstrate capacity as it embarked on building and retrofitting of primary health centers and state-owned specialist hospitals across the state. And these health centers and hospitals built and reconstructed by this government, are fully equipped with modern health facilities,thereby enhancing the state’s healthcare delivery system.

“On education sector, Otti’s administration has remarkably improved teaching and learning in Abia schools, through the construction and rehabilitation of school blocks in seventeen local government areas of Abia state, and training and employment of new teachers and lecturers in government -owned schools. And these giant strides achieved by this present administration have enhanced student enrollment in primary, secondary schools and university level.

Engr Zik Ihechi thanked Governor Alex Otti for taking over construction of the dilapidated umuahia-ikot ekpene federal road after several years of neglect by successive past administration in the country.

Frowning at the recent threats by opposition leaders to take over the State government house in 2027, Engr Zik Ihechi told critics that the people of the state won’t afford to change the current performing government for mediocre and confided that Abia electorates will return Dr Alex Chioma Otti as their governor in the forthcoming 2027 poll in the state.

He therefore urged the people of Abia state to remain steadfast and resolute with their supports to the present government as it continues to make positive efforts in restoring God’s Own State on path of economic greatness.
