NDC Concluded Primaries: Abia senatorial aspirant, Chikwendu thanks party, supporters for support

Aspirant for Abia south senatorial zone under the platform of Nigeria Democratic Congress, Comrade James Chibuzo Chikwendu, has appreciated the leadership stakeholders and teaming supporters of the NDC across local government areas that constituted Abia south senatorial district for their commitment, sacrifice, and support during yesterday’s primary election.

Comrade Chikwendu who was speaking on Saturday sued for sustenance of peace and unity among members of the NDC and supporters as official announcement of the final results is being waited by aspirants.

The Abia party chieftain partly stated “I am deeply grateful to everyone who stood with me, campaigned for me, mobilized support, protected our mandate, and voted for me. Your confidence in my leadership and vision for a better Abia South remains my greatest source of strength and inspiration.

“I am aware that there were challenges and concerns arising from today’s exercise. I want to assure you that every issue, irregularity, and concern raised will be properly addressed through the appropriate channels.

“I remain committed to ensuring that every vote cast in support of our aspiration is protected and that justice, fairness, and transparency prevail.

“As we await the final outcome, I call on all our supporters to remain peaceful, united, law-abiding, and steadfast. Let us continue to demonstrate maturity, discipline, and confidence in the democratic process.

“I also look forward to the leadership of our great party being fair, just, and committed to all aspirants who participated in this process in good faith and in the interest of strengthening our party and democracy.

“Once again, thank you for your loyalty, dedication, and unwavering support. Together, we have built a strong movement for the future of Abia South Senatorial District, and together we shall continue the journey”.
