A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Isaac Ehigiator has lamented at the continued marginalization of loyal members of the party in federal appointments by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration in the country.

Speaking on Thursday, Ehigiator noted that these party members sidelined in present APC- controlled federal government worked and ensured the party and Tinubu’s victory in the concluded 2023 presidential governorship election held across the federation by the Nigeria electoral commission.

The frontline APC stalwart regretted that non party members who openly worked against Tinubu’s candidacy in 2023 are being rewarded with juicy appointments, leaving loyal party members who risked their lives to ensure APC and President Tinubu’s success in the last presidential poll in Nigeria.

He stated: “Situation of political appointments outsourcing in APC, loyal party members are in pains and discontent. A case of monkey dey work baboo dey chop in APC.

“Mr Bwala did not work for the President, yet got a juicy appointment.

“Remo Omokri didn’t work for the no nomination of Mr President, yet he has just been rewarded for criticism.

“Fani Kayode leveled APC as a northern party, not good for Nigeria, yet Mr President has called him up to the feasting table,”He stated.

Continuing, Honorable Ehigiator queried, “What is happening to our own support group members who took risks for APC and for Mr President in order for him to emerge candidate, equally fought to ensure he wins the presidency?

“I personally didn’t expect the present turnout of event in this our APC government that I worked for. I spent time and resources transversing length and breath in many South South states, before and during the 2023 presidential election.

“I believe that I deserve better. Monkey(s) that worked must now be appointed into government,”He posited.
