Buhari’s government instilled personal integrity in governance – Ex spokesman Shehu
The former spokesperson to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, Garba Shehu, said that Buhari’s administration introduced a culture of personal integrity into governance.
He made the statement on Tuesday in Abuja while addressing journalists during a briefing on his new book titled “According to the President: Lessons from Presidential Spokespersons.”
Shehu explained that the book aims to serve as a valuable resource for students, media professionals, and public relations practitioners, adding that it comprehensively documents the key achievements of President Buhari’s eight-year tenure.
He stated, “President Buhari wanted his work to speak for him, and he wanted it to be on the doorstep of the poor.
“Buhari’s government made sincere efforts to improve the quality of life of farmers, youths, promoters of small businesses, and even traders, in addition to strengthening the nation’s infrastructure. Buhari’s government brought a culture of personal integrity into government.”
