APC Presidential Primaries: Onwuchekwa commends Abia members for successful outcome of exercise in local wards

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Hon Prince Ulu Onwuchekwa, has lauded the successful conduct of the primary election in Igbere ward in Bende local government area of Abia State.

He commended party members for display of comportment and unity of purpose that led to the peaceful outcome of the just-concluded APC presidential primary election in Igbere, and all other electoral wards in Bende local area.

Hon Onwuchekwa, who was the Returning Officer in the just-concluded APC presidential primary election in Igbere ward, gave the applause on Sunday, following the successful outcome of the exercise held yesterday across bende LGA.

Recall that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was declared the winner of the APC presidential primary election after securing 4,986 votes.

Over 5,000 registered APC members from Igbere bende ward reportedly participated during the exercise held on Saturday.

While applauding party members for ensuring hitch-free primaries in Bende local government area, Hon Ulu Onwuchekwa commended former Abia State Governor and representative of Abia north district in Nigerian Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and the Deputy Speaker of the house of representatives, Rt Hon Benjamin Kalu and other eminent leaders of the APC for their unwavering commitment to the progress and unity of the party.

The ersewhile LG council chairman of the APC called on members and teeming supporters of the APC in Abia state to double-up efforts in rallying supports and bulk votes to ensure the reelection of President Bola Tinubu, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, and Rt Hon Benjamin Kalu come next year .
