Abia chieftain, Emeka Bahadur mourns ex-council chairman, Chidiebere Nwachukwu

Former House of representatives aspirant from Abia state, Hon Emeka Bahadur Ndubuisi, has mourned the unfortunate passage of Hon Chidiebere Nwachukwu.

Late Nwachukwu was a former executive chairman of umuahia north local government council area of Abia state and hailed from umuagulori Afugiri Ohuhu in umuahia.

In a condolences message made available to newsmen on Friday, Honorable Emeka Bahadur extolled the virtues of late Chidiebere Nwachukwu, describing the deceased as a gentleman and a towering figure in state political landscape.

He said that late Nwachukwu will be remembered for his giant strides as then executive chairman of umuahia north local council area, and his immense contributions towards socio-economic and infrastructural development of Abia state.

“As then democratically elected executive chairman of umuahia north local government area and political leader, late Chief Chidiebere Nwachukwu led with integrity and a deep commitment to the ideals of society building.

“He was an embodiment of patriotism and services. His unwavering dedication to the unity and development of umuahia north, Abia state and Nigeria will remain etched in our memory”, Ndubuisi stated.

As late Chief Chidiebere Nwachukwu is laid to rest in his Ohuhu umuahia country home on Friday, Hon Emeka Bahadur Ndubuisi expressed his deepest condolences to the Nwachukwu family, the people of ohuhu clan, and umuahia north LG council area on the unexpected passage of the ex-chairman.

The frontline Abia chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) however asked Almighty God to grant the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss of this illustrious son, Chief Chidiebere Nwachukwu.
