Abia 2027: Pro-democracy Group hails Victor Nnochiri’s leadership qualities

A socio-political organization, the Forum of Abia Democrats (FABD), has lauded the sterling leadership qualities of Chief Victor Chukwuma Nnochiri

The Forum of Abia Democrats (FABD), whose membership is drawn from the seventeen (17) Local Government Areas of Abia State, in a statement issued on Saturday hailed Chief Victor Nnochiri’s resilience and commitment to nation-building and national development.
The statement was signed by the Chairman, Surveyor Samuel Azubuike, and the Secretary General, Ambassador Chinedu Emeruwa.
While noting that Chief Victor Chukwuma Nnochiri ‘s invaluable contributions toward deepening democracy in Abia State and Nigeria cannot be overemphasized, the Forum of Abia Democrats (FABD) also stated that Chief Nnochiri has remained unwavering in his pursuit of good governance in the country.
The pro-democracy forum further noted Chief Victor Chukwuma Nnochiri’s continued support for human empowerment, community development, as well as his passion for good governance.
“Chief Victor Chukwuma Nnochiri has remained committed to public service and dedicated to the advancement of democratic values in Abia State and Nigeria. This illustrious son of Abia State has continuously demonstrated his desire to contribute to societal development, having effectively and efficiently chaired and coordinated professional bodies.
“The Forum of Abia Democrats (FABD) therefore throws its weight behind Chief Victor Chukwuma Nnochiri’s House of Assembly bid, describing his recent emergence as the NDC House of Assembly standard-bearer for Ikwuano State Constituency as the beginning of a new chapter of progress and purposeful leadership in the constituency.
“The forum expresses confidence in the ability and capacity of Chief Victor Chukwuma Nnochiri to drive equitable development and uplift local communities across Ikwuano State Constituency through the attraction of critical government infrastructure and development projects when elected into the Abia State House of Assembly.
“According to the forum, aside from attracting meaningful socio-economic and infrastructural projects to Ikwuano State Constitency, Chief Victor Chukwuma Nnochiri also possesses the wherewithal to sponsor and support impactful legislation that will strengthen Abia’s democratic institutions and promote good governance.
“Chief Victor Chukwuma Nnochiri has remained a defender of justice and an advocate for the rights and welfare of ordinary Abia people and indeed, larger Nigerians.
“The confidence and widespread acceptance he enjoys among the electorate in Ikwuano State Constituency will translate into electoral victory for the NDC in the 2027 general election,” the forum stated.
The Forum of Abia Democrats (FABD) pledged to mobilize massive support and votes for the NDC House of Assembly candidate, Chief Victor Chukwuma Nnochiri, to ensure his victory in the 2027 general election for Ikwuano State Constituency to be conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The forum also used the opportunity to call on all eligible Nigerian citizens to participate in the ongoing nationwide voter registration exercise being conducted by INEC to enable them exercise their franchise in the 2027 general election.
Every eligible citizen of Abia State should ensure that they register and collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), because they remain the most powerful democratic tool guaranteed by the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for citizens to elect credible leaders and bring about positive change at all levels of government,” the statement concluded.
