Abia 2027: Group backs Emeka Bahadur for Reps Seat

A pro-democracy group, Abia Youths Responsive Governance (ABYRG) has hailed the outstanding leadership qualities of of Honorable Emeka Bahadur Ndubuisi.

Abia Youths for Responsive Governance, which membership is drawn from ikwuano, umuahia north and umuahia south local government areas that constituted Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency, in a statement on Tuesday, hailed Hon Emeka Bahadur’s silence and commitment to nation-building.

The statement by the socio-political organization was signed by the President, Surveyor Samuel Aguiyi, and the Secretary, Comrade Christian Uchechukwu.

While noting that Hon Emeka Bahadur Ndubuisi’s valuable contributions towards deepening democracy in Nigeria cannot be overemphasized, Abia Youths for Responsive Governance also noted that the ohuhu umuahia -born technocrat has remained unwavering in his commitment towards the welfare of the people.

While describing Hon Emeka Bahadur Ndubuisi as a true democrat, Abia Youths for Responsive Governance, expressed confidence in the capacity of Hon Emeka Bahadur Ndubuisi to delivering effective representation when called upon to represent the good people of Ikwuano/umuahia federal constituency in the house of representatives in 2027.

The group believed that Honorable Emeka Bahadur Ndubuisi if called upon to become next member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency at the green chamber of the national assembly, he will initiate impactful bills and make laws that will engender youth empowerment and socio-economic and infrastructural development in the federal constituency

Abia Youths for Responsive Governance, after extensive consultations and deliberations, therefore called on Honorable Emeka Bahadur Ndubuisi to join the 2027 federal house of representatives race and adduced that he is the best man to provide effective, efficient, and responsive representation to the people of the ikwuano/umuahia federal constituency.

Abia Youths for Responsive Governance (ABYRG) pledged to rally maximum support and bulk votes for the chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, Hon Emeka Bahadur Ndubuisi to emerge victorious in party primary election, and the main poll in 2027.

The youth rights advocacy body also used the medium to call on the leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Abia state to cede its house of representatives ticket for ikwuano/umuahia federal constituency to Hon Emeka Bahadur Ndubuisi, whom they described as a man of enormous capacities, and the best brain for the plum legislative job.

Abia Youths for Responsive Governance further urged every eligible Nigerian citizens to participate in the ongoing nationwide voters registration exercise by the Independent national electoral commission, so as to enable them exercise their franchise in next year’s general election in the country.

“Citizens of this country should ensure it register and collect their permanent voters cards (PVC), because, it is the only weapon and power vested on citizens by the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, to effect a change in government, and vote in credible people to mount leadership saddle in all levels in the country”
