2027: APC stalwart, Ugwumba Ishionwu tasks Abia citizens on INEC continuous voters registration exercise

Stalwart of All Progressives Congress (APC) Chief Ugwumba Chika Ishionwu, has tasked eligible citizens of Abia state on the ongoing continuous voters card registration exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ahead of the general election in 2027.

In a statement on Friday, on the heels of the ongoing nationwide voters registration exercise by the

Nigerian electoral commission, Ugwumba Ishionwu reminded the citizens that only the permanent voters cards guarantee them the voting rights to freely choose candidates and leaders of their choice during elections.

He particularly urged eligible citizens in ikwuano local government area and Abia state at large, to take advantage of the ongoing registration exercise and obtain their PVC so as to effect their desired changes in all stratas of political leadership in Nigeria.

While charging the people of ikwuano local area not to loose hope in their quests for good governance in local, states and federal levels, the party chieftain also encouraged them to participate in current efforts to deepen democracy in the country.

Ugwumba Ishionwu further used the medium to call on leaders to strengthen all institutions of governance towards ensuring the present democracy in the nation stand on sure footing for the good of the future generations
