For decades, political structures across the region treated governance as an instrument for elite distribution. The ordinary citizen, the civil servant, and the rural farmer were often left on the periphery of economic planning. What the Nigeria Democratic Congress is introducing to Abia State is a fundamental departure from that broken model.

​By structuring party platforms around actual community governance—investing directly in local market security, rural access roads, and educational grants—we strip away empty rhetoric. Development is a game of numbers, logistics, and human empathy. When a community can see its local infrastructure improving and its youth gaining access to technical skills without political favoritism, the old political order loses its grip. True disruption requires courage, structural discipline, and an unwavering commitment to the common good.

For us in the Nigeria Democratic Congress and the Igirigi Vanguard, the big picture is His Excellency, Peter Obi.

He represents the soul of the new Nigeria we are striving to build—a nation anchored on production, integrity, and justice. Our loyalty to this vision is absolute: wherever Peter Obi goes, we go. His political direction is our compass, and we are fully aligned with his movement for national rebirth.
