Primaries: NDC Reps aspirant, Obasi Asoh rallies support from Abia party delegates

Aspirant for Aba North/South federal constituency under the platform of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Abia State, Hon Obasi Asoh, has solicited maximum support of party members from the federal constituency as the NDC holds its primary election today across the state.

Speaking on thursday, Hon Obasi Asoh reiterated his commitment to the development and upliftment of Aba North/Aba south federal constituency, explaining that his decision to vie the Abia state house of representatives seat election to represent Aba North/south was borne out of the clarion calls by majority of people from the area who yearns for effective representation at the national assembly.

He described his entry into the 2027 house of representatives race as the beginning of a new chapter of progress and purposeful leadership in Aba North/Aba south federal constituency.

While rallying supports for today’s primaries by the NDC, Hon Obasi Asoh told party delegates and members that he possessed the needed capacity to drive socio-economic and infrastructural development in Aba North/Aba south federal constituency, through sponsorship of motions and lawmaking when elected as member of the house of representatives in next year’s polls.

According to him, development-oriented bills will be initiated, and good laws will also be made to strengthen all relevant institutions of democratic governance in Nigeria for efficiency and service delivery.

The Frontline NDC aspirant assured party delegates and members that he has the wherewithal to win election for NDC if supported to emerge as house of representatives standard-bearer of the party for Aba North/Aba south federal constituency in the forthcoming general election in 2027, reiterating his promises to serve people of the constituency diligently, and uplift local communities through attraction of government’s building of critical infrastructural amenities and provision of social amenities across the area.

“I assure party members that if given support to emerge victorious as candidate, I will not disappoint the party and Aba North /Aba south federal constituency. I am prepared to offer the best by representing constituency efficiently, effectively, and responsibly. I will make good laws that will foster even development across Aba North/Aba south federal constituency when entrusted with party ticket to win the main election next year”,the Aspirant stated.
