Onwusoanya Ezendigbo speaks on plan to address hunger crisis in Nigeria if elected President

The founder of Better Life for Better Peoples, Chief CBN Onwusoanya Ezendigbo has promised to prioritize investment in agriculture if elected as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Onwusoanya explained his administration will prioritize agriculture to tackle hunger and poverty in the country.

He was speaking during an interview with THE PURVEYOR, against the prevailing economic crisis in the country, insisted that hunger could only be tackled effectively by giving adequate attention to mechanized farming.

“By investing in agriculture and food-related productivity, Nigeria will not only be addressing the hunger crisis but will also create huge job opportunities for the teeming unemployed population, especially the Youths in their productive age,”he said.

Onwusoanya stressed the need to further explore the untapped potential in food production in Nigeria and other African countries.

The southeast chieftain also noted that with significant investments in agriculture and food systems, we could create jobs, reduce poverty, and tackle hunger simultaneously.

Onwusoanya Ezendigbo however called on Nigeria’s to embrace modernized system of agriculture to ensure food sufficiency in our homes and halt hunger crisis facing the country presently.
