Nigerian-born Benin Republic footballer, Razak Omotoyossi is dead

Nigerian-born footballer, Razak Omotoyossi, is dead at the age of 39.

Born in Nigeria but representing Benin at international level, Omotoyossi became one of the nation’s most iconic football figures.

His death was announced on Tuesday by authorities in Benin.
Reacting, his former club, Helsingborgs IF wrote on X: “Helsingborgs IF is in mourning.
“We have been informed that our former player Razak Omotoyossi has passed away at the age of 39.
“Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones.”
