NARTO chairman, Ohaeri congratulates Balogu on emergence as Abia treasurer of TUC

The Abia state chairman of Nigerian Association of Road Transport Owners (NARTO) Ambassador Amaobi Ohaeri has congratulated Chief Nnamdi Balogu on his election as the new treasurer of Trade Union Congress(TUC), Abia state branch.

In a statement made available to newsmen in umuahia on Friday, Ambassador Ohaeri noted that the unwavering commitment of Chief Balogu towards the welfare of workers cannot be overemphasized, having performed credibly well when he held sway as the State chairman of Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN).

As he emerged as the new Abia treasurer of the Trade Union Congress, the NARTO chairman confided that Chief Balogu will bring to bear his enormous capacity in fostering industrial peace and ensuring better welfare packages for workers at all levels in the state and Nigeria society at large.

Ambassador Ohaeri assured the maximum cooperation and support of the Abia branch of the Nigerian Association of Road Transport Owners to the leadership of Trade Union Congress in advocating better wages, conditions and as well as encouraging economic stability for workers and the society.

Ambassador Ohaeri however prayed for God’s guidance and strengths upon Chief Nnamdi Balogu as joined other great Nigerian unionists in steering the affairs of Trade Union Congress (TUC) in state and national levels.
