Monday Ubani: A Response to Concerns About My Public Interventions

A friend recently expressed concern on Facebook that I no longer feature regularly on television and radio programmes to discuss national issues, particularly the present socio-economic challenges confronting the masses.

I appreciate such concern because it stems from a recognition of my long-standing commitment to public advocacy.

Let me assure my friends, supporters, and well-wishers that I remain a steadfast and persistent voice for the masses. My commitment to the welfare of the people, good governance, the rule of law, social justice, and national development remains as strong today as it has always been.
There is hardly a week that passes without my intervention on critical issues affecting our nation, whether in politics, governance, law, the electoral process, or socio-economic development.
Over the years, age, wisdom, and experience have refined my approach and language, but they have not altered the principles and convictions that have guided my public engagements.
I admit that I have not been consistent in sharing many of these interventions on the Ubani Solidarity Platform. My interventions are now published more on Lawyers Blogs and Platforms. For this, I take responsibility and pledge to ensure that my contributions are more regularly communicated through this platform.
I want to state clearly that no position, privilege, wealth, or public office can ever make me abandon the cause of the masses, the downtrodden, and the underprivileged. I will never forget my background. My commitment to the welfare of the people is a covenant I have made with God and with my conscience.
While my appearances on radio and television may not be as frequent as they once were, largely because of increasing professional and public responsibilities, my dedication to the common people remains unwavering and unshaken.
Thank you for your continued trust, support, and friendship.
