‘If Peter Obi becomes running mate to anyone in 2027, I will work against that ticket’ – Aisha Yesufu

She cited concerns about women’s roles in politics.
She highlighted the tendency to put women or less prominent figures in deputy positions, suggesting that capable individuals like Peter Obi should lead instead.
Notably, Peter Obi has declared his intention to run for president in 2027, which might align with Aisha Yesufu’s preference for him to lead rather than be a running mate.
