Ex-APC NEC member, Nduka Anyanwu extolls Buhari ‘s virtues

Ex-National Executive Committee member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), High Chief Nduka Anyanwu has mourned the passage of the former President Muhammadu Buhari.

THE PURVEYOR reported that Buhari died on Sunday in London after an undisclosed illness.

He will be buried on Tuesday at his hometown, Daura in Katsina state.

However, Chief Anyanwu, a former board council chairman of Administrative Staff College of Nigeria(ASCON), in a statement on Tuesday, described the late Nigerian leader as a great patriot and embodiment of discipline and service.

Chief Anyanwu who had personal relationship with the late former President Muhammadu Buhari dated from kaduna state and also during the era of All Nigerian Peoples Party(ANPP), said the deceased’s legacy of resilience, patriotism, and commitment to Nigeria’s unity and progress will be remembered for generations .

“As I condole the family, especially Her Execellency, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the people of Katsina, and Nigerians as a whole on the passage of our former President, His Execellency, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (Retd), GCFR, May cherished memories bring comfort to his loved ones, and may his soul rest in perfect peace,” Anyanwu prayed.
