Ex-Abia lawmaker, Nwachukwu congratulates newly-elected State LP Officers, hails successful conduct of Congress

Chieftain of the labour party and Member of Abia State House of Assembly, Hon Chijioke Nwachukwu, has lauded the successful conduct of the state Congress by the leadership of the labour party.

Hon Nwachukwu who made the commendation while speaking with journalists on Saturday in Umuahia, the Abia state capital.

He congratulated Peter Azubuike on his election as new chairman of the labour party in Abia State,and as well as all others who emerged as state executive committee members of the party during the just-concluded congress held in the state.

Nwachukwu described the election of these eminent Abians as members of the state executive committee of the labour party as a clear testament of their commitment, loyalty and service to the party in Abia state.

He expressed confidence in the ability and capacity of the newly elected members of the labour party in steering affairs of the party in the state.

“There’s o doubts that these men and women of caliber will live up to the expectations of the party members towards delivering LP in future electoral competitions,”the stalwart stated.

Hon Nwachukwu commended Governor Alex Chioma Otti for his unwavering commitment to the progress and unity of the party in the state.

He maintained that the labour party -led government in Abia has justified the mandate entrusted her by the Abia people.

The former lawmaker solicited maximum support from party members to the newly-elected executive committee of the labour party in Abia state to enable them take the party to enable them succeed.
