Ex-Abia lawmaker, Nwachukwu Congratulates Acho Obioma on emergence as LP National Secretary

Party Stalwart and Member of Abia State House of Assembly Service Commission, Hon Chijioke Nwachukwu, has congratulated a former member of the house of Representatives, Hon Iheanacho Obioma on his emergence as the national secretary of the labour party.

Obioma was the political adviser to Abia State Governor Alex Otti until his election as the new national secretary of the labour party.

Recall that Labour party had on Tuesday, held its elective convention at International Conference Center (ICC), Umuahia, Abia State Capital.

The convention returned Senator Nemadi Usman as the LP national chairman and elected Hon Iheanacho Obioma as new national secretary of the party.

However, Hon Chijioke Nwachukwu, a former member of Abia State House of Assembly, in a statement on Wednesday, noted that Hon Iheanacho Obioma’s commitment to the progress and unity of the labour party cannot be overstated, applauding the commitment of the ex-federal lawmaker to nation-building.

He commended Hon Iheanacho Obioma as for his unflinching support to Governor Alex Otti’s transformative leadership in Abia state.

The frontline LP Stalwart expressed confidence in the ability of Hon Obioma and all other newly-elected party national officers in positioning labour party on the path of greatness.

Hon Nwachukwu commended Governor Alex Otti for his administrations’s infrastructural revolution in Abia state and his commitment to the unity of the labour party in Nigeria.
