Primaries: Imo forum commends ADC on Onyirimba’s candidacy, rallies support ahead of 2027 polls

Forum of Imo North Democrats (FIND) has described the emergence of Chief Attorney Charles Onyirimba as the African Democratic Congress (ADC) standard bearer for Imo North senatorial district as the beginning of a new chapter of progress and purposeful leadership in okigwe zone.

The forum commended members of the ADC across okigwe zone for their confidence and support to Attorney Onyirimba during the just-concluded primary election held for imo north senatorial district seat.
Forum of Imo North Democrats(FIND), whose membership is drawn from six(6) local government areas that constituted imo north senatorial district otherwise known as okigwe zone, made the commendation in a statement issued at the end of their enlarged meeting held on Tuesday in Owerri, the imo state capital.
The statement by the forum was signed by the President, Surveyor Samuel Aguiyi, Secretary-General Mrs. Chiamaka Nzomuche, and Publicity Secretary, Comrade Chinedu C. Emeruwa.
The socio-political forum also applauded the leadership of the ADC for providing a level-playing grounds for all aspirants who sought for the party’s tickets in the recently-conducted primaries across imo state.
While lauding the successful outcome of the just-concluded primary election held for Imo North senatorial district seat by the ADC leadership, the forum stated that Chief Attorney Charles Onyirimba’s commitment to socio-economic and infrastructural development of Imo north and imo state cannot be overemphasized and commended Onyirimba for his immense contributions to community development and continued support to human empowerment in the society.
The southeast forum reiterated that the people of okigwe zone otherwise known as Imo north senatorial district had spoken in clear terms and agreed to queue behind Chief Attorney Charles Onyirimba, and ensure his emergence in next year’s general election, as the next senator representing imo north zone at the national assembly.
“Having displayed uncommon capacity needed for the plum legislative job, Forum of Imo North Democrats(FIND) sees in Chief Attorney Charles Onyirimba a visionary leadership and genuine commitment towards actualization of a better Okigwe zone(Imo North).
“With his genuine passion for good governance and service, and coupled with track records of excellence in private sector-driven leadership, we believe this illustrious Imo son and legal luminary, Chief Attorney Charles Onyirimba is the best man to represent and speak for the larger people of okigwe zone/imo north. Because, Onyirimba possessed the wherewithal to engender development across local communities in imo north senatorial district when he is elected as senator come next year.
“Attorney Onyirimba is well-prepared to initiate development-oriented bill and make good laws towards strengthening all relevant institutions of democratic governance in Nigeria when voted in to become senator of the federal republic of Nigeria in the coming 2027 election in Imo state and many other states of Nigeria federation,”The forum posited.
Forum of Imo North Democrats(FIND), therefore used the fora and called on all eligible citizens in okigwe zone (Imo North) to ensure they register in INEC’s Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) holding across local electoral wards in imo state, in order to choose and vote in capable individual into leadership positions at federal and state levels come next year’s election in Nigeria by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
