APC NEC member, Donatus Nwankpa condoles Nigerians on Buhari’s death

National Welfare Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Chief Donatus Nwankpa has expressed his deepest condolences to the family, the government and the people of Nigeria on the passage of former President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.

THE PURVEYOR reported that Buhari died on Sunday in London after an undisclosed illness.

In a statement on Tuesday, Honorable Nwankpa described the late ex- President as a towering figure in Nigeria’s political and historical landscape.

The former Abia lawmaker also described late Muhammadu Buhari as an embodiment of discipline, patriotism, and service.

“His lifelong dedication to the unity, stability, and development of Nigeria will remain etched in our national memory.

“From his days as a military leader to his democratically elected presidency, he led with integrity and a deep commitment to the ideals of nation-building.

“As welfare secretary of the ruling party and founder of the Omaraeme Foundation, I personally mourn a leader whose resilience and focus on social development, anti-corruption, and national security left an indelible mark. His legacy will continue to inspire generations to come,”he added.

Continuing, Nwankpa prayed to Almighty God to grant the soul of late former President Muhammadu Buhari eternal rest and as well give the immediate family and Nigerians the strength to bear this great loss.
