APC chieftain, Ugochukwu Ndubuka commends Kalu on establishment of new tertiary institutions in Abia

Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress from Abia State, Chief Ugochukwu Ndubuka has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s assent into law, two bills establishing Federal College of Education and Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences in Abia state.

The bill recently signed into law by the President were sponsored by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the member representing Bende Federal constituency, Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu.

The lawmaker also lobbied for the establishment of Federal University of Okigwe in Imo State for the people of the southeast.

In a statement on Tuesday, Chief Ugochukwu Ndubuka noted that the tertiary institutions will provide quality education, research opportunities, and cater to the educational needs of the southeast region.

He expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for including Southeast geopolitical zone in his administration’s developmental agenda establishing two tertiary institutions in Abia state.

Ndubuka further appreciated the leadership of the Nigerian Senate, house of representatives and Nigerians for their profound support to the bill now laws.

While lauding the approval of establishment of new tertiary institutions in Abia, the foremost lawyer urged ndigbo to continue supporting the tinubu-led government’s efforts in restoring Nigeria on path of economic prosperity.
