MY REASSURING STATEMENT OF INTENT

I have heard lots of side talks, discouraging statements and even received threats since I made this conscious decision to throw myself into the political scene. Some from people I don’t know, some others from persons who feel that in their rights that I am not qualified or that I have to come meet them personally to seek their permission before I can proceed.

I have also received a lot of moral, spiritual and physical support and words from family, friends, fathers, mothers and youths in Ukwa West State constituency and I thank them so much for their belief in my aspirations, their unwavering love and support.

This massive show of love is a solemn reminder of why I chose this path in the first place — service to my people.

Over the last five years since returning home from Europe, I’ve made it a priority to be present in Ukwa West. I’ve spent time listening to families in my community (Ogwe-asa), and neighboring communities, understanding their challenges, and supporting where I can.

What I’ve heard and seen has stayed with me. I’ve listened to mothers worried about their children’s future. I’ve met young people in Ukwa West who are creative, resourceful, and full of potential, but are held back by a lack of opportunity. I am convinced that Ukwa can rise if we create the right environment and opportunities for our people to thrive.

I’ve come to realize that while personal efforts can make a difference, lasting change requires influence at the level where decisions are made. That is why I am offering myself to serve in the Abia State House of Assembly, representing Ukwa West Constituency.

This is not about personal ambition. It is about standing as a servant and messenger for Ndi Ukwa West — to ensure our voices are heard, our needs are addressed, and our share of resources is directed toward empowering our youth, strengthening our communities, and building a future we can be proud of.

I step into this journey with humility, a clear purpose, and a commitment to serve with integrity.

For a Prosperous Ukwa. For a New Nigeria. Together, it is possible.
