The ADC Chairman, Umuahia North LGA, Hon. Nwanneakolam George has identified ADC as a viable party to lead Nigerians to the fortunes and dividends of democracy.

Hon. George who stated this at the State ADC Party Office, Ogurube Layout, Umuahia during the Stakeholders meeting of ADC, Umuahia North which comprises the Ward Chairmen and their Executives, Local Government ADC Executive Members, some State Executive Council Members from Umuahia North and other major Stakeholders, alled on the Party faithful not to see the recent departure of Obi and others as a significant challenge, as their departure has nothing to do with the growth as well as victory of the party, adding that the victory of the party in all nooks and crannies of Nigeria remains sacrosanct and stressed the need for Ward Chairmen and their executives to strengthen the party at the grassroots level.

The Umuahia North ADC Chairman who extolled the leadership of the party at the Local Government and Ward level and the stakeholders for remaining resolute and committed to the party, described their perseverance to stick to the party as the high level of love and acceptability of the party in Abia State and the entire South-East and assured that ADC will not bring shame to Nigerians as the All Progressive Congress APC did

Hon. George, maintained that ADC leadership is saddled with truth, integrity, quality leadership and extension of hands of fellowship to one another in the party and assured that the party will bring hardship and economic downturn, ravaging the country to an end if elected at the federal and state levels.

He announced that the party had commenced last week’s sales of nomination and interest forms for the party’s primary election, as some people who are interested in running for elections have bought their forms and directed the Ward Chairmen to go to the field for instant mobilisations and engagements and enjoined anyone willing to contest for any elective position should come to the State Party office, Umuahia to pick up form.

Contributing, the Abia State ADC Financial Secretary, Chief Barr. Ndubuka Ugochukwu Roland while narrating the history of Nigerian politics in the first and second republic, harped on the need for Ndi Igbo to learn the political landscape of Nigeria as well as come up with alignment that will realise the long yearned Igbo Presidency and expressed confidence that the departure of Mr Peter Obi will not affect the chances of the party in Nigeria’s political scene.

Declaring his interest to run for Ikwuano and Umuahia Federal Constituency, Chief Emeka Bahadour, identified the 2027 general election as a time for accountability and rolling out of everyone’s scorecards, as Obi wave of 2023 will not see the light of the day in 2027, noting that he intends to make all sectors in Ikwuano and Umuahia Federal Constituency to work as well as attract all that is due for them from the Federal level.

He expressed delight over the maximum attendance of the party leaders from the wards to the State which he said shows the level of acceptability of the party in Abia State and called on every ADC member to remain committed to the mission to reclaim the State from those who were brought into the government through Obi’s wave which he said will never repeat itself in 2027.
