ADC reaffirms commitment to unity in Abia ahead of 2027 elections

Critical stakeholders of the African Democratic Congress(ADC) in Ohafia local government area of Abia State, have reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to political transformation, unity,and grassroots expansion of the party across the state.

Their reaffirmation was contained in a communique issued after an enlarged stakeholders meetings of ohafia LG chapter of the party presided by the LG chairman, Hon Prince Okwara Agwu, which place in Amaekpu ohafia on Sunday.
The parley was well- attended by key leaders, ward executive committee members, and teeming faithfuls of the ADC in Ohafia local area.
The major stakeholders renewed their collective resolve to advance the party’s presence across ohafia and beyond.
In his remarks during the meeting, the LGA chairman of the ADC, Hon Prince Okwara Agwu stressed the importance of collective leadership, discipline, and planning towards repositioning the party in Ohafia local government area.
In their separate speeches, the ADC leader in Ohafia North constituency, Hon Prince Emmanuel Aruba Kalu Ndukwo, and that of Ohafia South state constituency, Hon Sunday Mba Nze, called for continued unity, grassroots engagement, and unwavering commitment of members to the ideals of the party.
The enlarged meeting of the ADC stakeholders from Ohafia local government area, also reiterated their supports to the Abia State leadership of the party under Mr Obinna Don Norman whose strategic direction and political integrity has earned widespread respect and inspired a renewed sense of purpose among ADC stakeholders.
According to the communique, key leaders, ward and local executive committee members, and teeming faithfuls harped on coalition building, party coordination, and grassroots mobilization towards expanding the party’s base, declared their readiness for upcoming political cycles.
They further lauded transparency exhibited by the leadership of the ADC in its affairs and tasked the party on continued emphasis on grassroots inclusion.
THE PURVEYOR reports that the ohafia local government area chapter of the ADC during the parley received new members from other political parties, as it positions itself as a credible, people-centered alternative in Abia State.
