Abia:I remains authentic chairman of ADC in Bende LGA-Ukeh insists

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has raised alarm over activities of disgruntled elements to create division and confusion in Bende local government area chapter of the ADC.

Pastor John Ukeh, the chairman of the ADC in Bende LGA, disclosed this is a statement issued on Wednesday, dismissed the rumours on his purported removal from office and insisted that he remained the authentic chairman of ADC in Bende LGA of Abia state.

His words: “I, Hon Pastor John ukeh is still the authentic congress produced chairman of African Democratic Congress ADC Bende LGA, and I know all ADC congress produced ward chairmen in Bende LGA. All the congress produced ADC Bende LGA executives, and our tenure has not expired. So for anyone to parade himself as ADC Bende LGA chairman is illegal. ADC Bende LGA is not for sale. They want to create division and confusion in ADC Bende LGA. The same congress that produced the state chairman of ADC was the same congress that elected me and other ADC LGA chairmen in Abia state. I am still the authentic chairman of ADC Bende LGA,”He reiterated.

Ukeh urged party members and the general public to disregard the rumours that he has been removed as the Bende LGA ADC chairman.

According to the chairman, “It’s a lie from the pit of hell. Every meeting that is not scheduled by me in LGA level under ADC is illegal and should be ignored.

“I plead to all ADC leaders and members to stay focused on building ADC in our various wards,”The chairman added.
