Abia: Sonacop CEO, Mazi Emma Uche laud successful hosting of Aro day celebration

The Chief Executive Officer of Sonacop Industrial Limited and Chieftain of the Labour Party, Mazi Emma Uche, has commended Eze Aro of Arochukwu ancient Kingdom, His Eminence, Eze Eberechukwu Oji, and the organizing committee members for the successful celebration of 2025 Aro Day.

The well-attended event was held on Friday 26th December at Aro civic centre, in Arochukwu local government area of Abia state.

Speaking on Sunday, Mazi Emma Uche who holds traditional title as Dike Aro, described the recent event as historic and clear testament of unity of purpose among the people of Arochukwu clan.

He commended Abia state Governor, Dr Alex Otti and his wife for making the recently-held Aro day celebration colourful, which saw the presence of Emir of Kano, Mohammadu Sanusi II during the event.

Mazi Emma Uche also used the medium to commend Governor Alex Otti for his exceptional and transformative leadership which according to him, has restored hope, and the dignity of Abia people.

The frontline Abia stalwart further expressed gratitude to Governor Otti for reconstructing access roads into Arochukwu local government area, for greater socio-economic and infrastructural development in the area.

Mazi Emma Uche otherwise known as Okwoto, urged the good of Arochukwu ancient clan at home and abroad, to continue in giving their maximum supports to Governor Alex Otti-led administration as it has restored Abia state on the path of progress and economic prosperity.
