Abia Party Chieftain, Acho Obioma lauds successful conduct of LP State Congress

Special Adviser to Abia State Governor on Political matters and Chieftain of the labour party (LP), Hon Acho Obioma, has lauded the successful conduct of the state Congress by the leadership of the labour party.

Hon Acho Obioma, who made the commendation while speaking with journalists on Sunday, shortly after the conduct of the state Congress by the labour party held in Umuahia, the Abia capital.

The former member of the house of representatives, congratulated Peter Azubuike on his election as new chairman of the labour party in Abia State, and as well as all others who emerged as state executive committee members of the party during the just-concluded congress held in the state.

He described the election of these eminent Abians as members of the state executive committee of the labour party as a clear testament of their commitment, loyalty and service to the party in Abia state.

The ex-federal lawmaker expressed confidence in the ability and capacity of the newly elected members of the labour party in steering affairs of the party in the state.

“There’s no doubt that these men and women of caliber will live up to the expectations of the party members towards delivering LP in future electoral competitions,”LP Stalwart stated.

Hon Obioma solicited maximum support from party members to the newly-elected executive committee of the labour party in Abia state to enable them take the party to enable them succeed.
