Abia Chieftain, Brightman Onyendi congratulates Yilwatda, Nwankpa on reelection as APC national officers

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress from Abia state, Dr Brightman Onyendi, has lauded the successful conduct of the National Convention by the ruling APC in Nigeria.

The ruling APC had on Saturday, elected it’s new members of the National Working Committee, NWC, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The exercise was carried out in the just-concluded 8th national convention of the party held at the Eagles Square in Abuja, the nation’s capital city.

Dr Onyendi, who was a delegate of the party from Abia state, while speaking on Monday, congratulated former State party chairman, Hon Donatus Nwankpa on his reelection as the national welfare secretary of the APC at the concluded convention.

He also congratulated Professor Nentawe Yilwatda on his emergence as the substantive national chairman of the APC, and all other members elected into the national working committee of the party.

He described the emergence of a new national working committee members of the All Progressives Congress as a testament of their unwavering dedication, visionary leadership and distinguished service to the party and nation.

“It is also a testament to the recognition of their strong support for the development of democracy in Nigeria,”the ex-Abia central senatorial hopeful stated.

Dr. Onyendi expressed confidence in the ability of the new national officers of the party in leading the party to victory in the forthcoming elections in 2027.

He commended co-Abia delegates for demonstrating spirit of oneness and unity of purpose that saw successful outcome of the concluded party national convention.
